Flatpress

I use TAMB for my blog but I want a CMS that is on the server not my desktop. I don’t have a MYSQL database, so I have been looking at flatpress, looking at the themes I’m sure I will be able to port some from other CMS but I was wondering wehter anyone else has used it? and if it’s as good as it sounds.

bittorrent isn’t just for music!

sneakatron.info back up

sneakatron.info is back up. Basically just a blog at the moment, I also have completed another two TAMB themes that I need to upload. I am using a great free host with 100GB a month bandwidth and lots of space, read about it here.

improving your blog

We all know that If the thing that you have to say isn’t interesting to other people it’s not going to be a huge boost for your Blog. But maybe it’s not hat you have to say by itself that counts but the way you say it. What if you have interesting points but when you write it is written plainly and frankly boringly. There are several things you can do to improve your Blog post and build readership…..

You know something is wrong when websites starts to say

Please enter a legitimate name.

I just tried to signup for facebook, mainly because I’m curious what all the hype is about, and thats exactly what the error message says. Who are they to say my name isn’t real.
What makes it think my name isn’t real, it’s not like I tried to say i’m “max power” or something. Thats one way there going to start losing users. Hell, I even tried a variation of my “Dick Hole”! no really that it’s a variation of my name. Obviously that didn’t work. Not that I really care, but soon people will have to signup under false generic names like “John Smith” because websites accuse you of being a fake, this is ridiculous.

I’m back usin ye Olde Qumana, I forgot what a nice peice of software it is. I think you should check it out. Looks a lot has changed since I last used it, but you still get the same feeling with it.

I have hated my space from the very beginning sure I have an account but I never used it. I hated the interface and I hated what the profiles looked like. If you wanted to change your profile you would have to go to an external site and even then it didn’t look good. Now, I have stumbled on virb.com which is like my space but is done so much better. It took me 30 seconds to sign up and now I have a profile which looks way better then any on myspace. The best thing about it is the way you can change the layout, the colour scheme and the modules without having to leave the site. check it out and join me on virb.
